操作壓力一般為0.3～0.6兆帕，特殊的可達3兆帕或更高。過濾面積可以隨所用的板框數(shù)目增減。板框通常為正方形，濾框的內邊長為320～2000毫米，框厚為16～80毫米，過濾面積為1～1200米2。板與框用手動螺旋、電動螺旋和液壓等方式壓緊。板和框用木材、鑄鐵、鑄鋼、不銹鋼、聚丙烯和橡膠等材料制造。全自動壓濾機主要由止推板(固定濾板)、壓緊板(活動濾板)、濾板和濾框、橫梁(扁鐵架)、過濾介質(濾布或濾紙等)、壓緊裝置、集液槽等組成，其中過濾介質和集液槽由用戶自備。全自動壓濾機有手動壓緊、機械壓緊和液壓壓緊二種形式。手動壓緊是螺旋千斤頂推動壓緊板壓緊；機械壓緊是電動機配H型減速箱，經(jīng)機架傳動部件推動壓緊板壓緊；
ZJW型壓濾機入料泵采用獨特的水力設計及葉輪安裝方式，確保了其性能曲線比一般雜質泵更陡，非常適合壓濾機入料時應阻力的變化來實現(xiàn)大流量，低壓力喂料與小流量，高壓力過濾的目的。其特殊的水力性能恰好吻合壓濾機由空腔到填滿再到濾干的漸進過程。喂料初期不用閥門控制流量過大引起的電機過載同時低壓力不會對濾板邊框產生沖擊，減輕了濾板邊框上的濾布的破損，也不會沖擊濾板造成震動，壓濾后期的小流量大壓力不易產生憋泵。尤其是在后期壓榨期時同泵在大壓力下其獨特的葉輪安裝方式及副葉輪的作用，保證軸封處的基本達到無泄漏。
