據(jù)消息了解，美國無人機公司 airware 突然告知員工，該公司將立即停止運營，該公司曾有多達 140 名員工，現(xiàn)在所有員工都失業(yè)狀態(tài)。該初創(chuàng)公司最初專門為無人機提供自動駕駛系統(tǒng)，曾耗費了所有資金用于嘗試自己生產(chǎn)硬件，后嘗試設計了兩款無人機，但是根本無法與中國的大疆這樣的無人機巨頭競爭。

據(jù)悉，airware 成立于 2011 年，是由 jonathan downey 創(chuàng)立的，該公司之前已獲得了安德森 · 霍洛維茨、谷歌的 gv 和凱鵬華盈（kleiner perkins）等頂級投資者籌集了 1.18 億美元（約合 8.1 億人民幣）。
