釷鎢電極是傳統(tǒng)電極，有著優(yōu)越的焊接性能，在焊接過程中不斷弧、 不散弧、不飄逸、不飛濺、電弧穩(wěn)定、耐高溫，鎢極頭不易變圓，使用壽命較長。但釷鎢電極輕微的放射性，使得它的應(yīng)用受到了一定的限制和抵制。
The thorium electrode is a tradeitional outstanding welding electrode, whose arc is continuous, stable, without spreading and dispersing. As it is not easy to get a round top with thermostability, it perbs well in lifetime. However, it is limited in application for its slight radioactivity.
